Evangelist Alan Kern

My name is Alan Kern. I have been a pastor and missionary for some twenty-five years to South Africa, Canada, and the U.S.  More recently I have been operating in my true calling as an evangelist. I am thankful for the many years of pasturing, as it has given me the heart of a pastor, and for the many years overseas for broadening my experience and relationship with God. My primary giftings are preaching the Word, healing miracles, evangelism training, and God has also greatly enabled me to pray for people to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. I am happily married to Laurie and the father of four mostly grown children, Daniel, Rachel, Evangeline and Abby.  For years I have risen early in the morning to read my Bible, recording insights and revelations, things God quickens to my heart, which I have turned into devotionals that I trust will be an encouragement and inspiration to your own lives. In between revivals, I have written an historical novel based on our family's eight years of missionary experiences in South Africa, entitled, "When Elephants Fight," which will be published in October 2009.

I am available for revivals in your church. What many churches have done is to have me come a day early and spend an evening with any church members interested in outreach. There, I train them from my many years in street ministry, and then take them to the streets for some "hands-on" experience. This has accomplished a number of things: One, the people participating in the outreach bring an exciting, evangelistic spirit into the meetings that is contagious and helps maintain the momentum of the revival. Two, often times there are people saved on the outreach, and bringing them into the revival gives them a jump-start on their Christian experience. And the people bringing them in and working with these visitors serves to revive their own lives as well.  Third, even when people are not saved on that particular outreach, I have often seen God bring in visitors from elsewhere, simply because He honors the labors of His people in the harvest.

I look forward to seeing all that God would do in the life of your church as we labor togother in His Kingdom until His imminet return.

  In Christ,
